How design and decor is being used today to "speak" in the 21st century

One thing about authentic design, is that it is suited for the ones who do not mind taking risks and not only adding pops of decor, but also adding layers to the architectural elements in a space. When I think about design, it's all about the entire environment in a space and utilizing every part of it.
Using a color scheme, wallcoverings, or floor materials only name a few, but the list could go on! That's what I love about it. It's like dressing in the fall and winter....which just happens to be my favorite season for fashion looks.
Adding layers does not mean that it takes away from a space or even conforming to a maximalist look. The look can be minimized depending on choices in color or texture. But when designing a space for someone, I like to keep residents, what they say, guessing and create subtle surprises for clients.
The ultimate home in 2021 can be explored different ways. It can be done effortlessly, but it will speak volumes and add value to your daily experience of living in it.
